The DURBAN FOREST - A New Book by the Durban Botanic Gardens Trust

The Durban Botanic Garden Trust has just published a NEW Book called the Durban Forest which will be launched in the first week of September 2015.

This book has been timed to co-incide with not only National Arbour Week which is the first week in September o in time for the World Forestry Congress (WFC) which is taking place at the ICC in Durban, South Africa from 7-11 September 2015.  All proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards the production costs funded by the Durban Botanic Gardens Trust. City and partners help kick-start green career paths for matrics

The City of Cape Town, in partnership with the Cape Town Environmental Education Trust, welcomed 21 new inductees to its skills development programme at the False Bay Nature Reserve, on 27 January 2015. Since its launch in 2007, the programme has enabled skills development and employment opportunities for matriculants from informal settlements and previously disadvantaged communities around Cape Town.
